How to make your own Dulce de Leche Recipe from Sweetened Condensed Milk: It's easier than you think! You only need one can of sweet condensed milk and a medium-sized cooking pot.
Remove the label from the can of the sweetened condensed milk.
Place the can in the cooking pot and fill it with enough water to cover the top of the can.
Cook at medium-high heat until it begins to boil, then lower the temperature to medium heat and cook for 3 hours,covered. Ensure the can is always fully submerged in water.
