Ingredients Notes
Pumpkin Cream Mixture
- Mascarpone Cheese -The classic base for tiramisu. Cream Cheese works as a substitute if you prefer a tangier filling.
- Pumpkin Purée - Do not use Pumpkin Pie Filling, which already has added sugar and spices. Pure Pumpkin Purée is the essence of this recipe and a great way to use leftover pumpkin puree.
- Brown Sugar - Adds caramel notes and the right amount of sweetness.
- Pumpkin Pie Spice - Brings the warm Fall flavors.
- Vanilla Extract
- Heavy Cream (chilled) - Helps create a fluffy filling when whipped.
Coffee Mixture
- Brewed coffee - You can substitute with 1 cup of water and 1 teaspoon of instant expresso
- Brown Sugar
- Vanilla Extract
- Dark Rum (optional) — we use rum for a Latin Flair in place of the Marsala wine typically used in Italian Tiramisu.
Topping - This makes a soft whipped cream topping that complements the pumpkin layers.
- Cold Heavy Cream
- Powdered Sugar
- Cinnamon for sprinkling (optional)
Layering Component
- Lady Fingers also called Ladyfinger Cookies - Quickly dipping them in the coffee mixture so they stay tender without becoming soggy.
How to Make this Pumpkin Tiramisu Recipe Step-by-Step
This guide breaks down Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu so anyone can follow it, even if it’s your first time learning how to make tiramisu. Each step helps you get the best results with clear, simple techniques!

- Step 1: Prepare the Pumpkin Cream:
- In a medium bowl, combine the mascarpone (at room temperature), pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, and brown sugar.
- Using the whisk attachment on a hand mixer or in the bowl of a stand mixer, mix on medium speed until smooth.
- Pause to scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula to fully blend the pumpkin mixture.

- Pour in the chilled heavy cream and continue mixing until lightly whipped.

- Stop once it thickens and becomes airy; avoid over-mixing.

- Step 4: Prepare the Coffee Mixture
- In a shallow bowl, combine the brewed coffee, brown sugar, vanilla, and rum.
- Whisk until the sugar dissolves. This coffee mixture will be used to dip the ladyfingers for the layers.

- Prepare the Whipped Cream Topping: In a separate bowl, add the cold heavy cream and powdered sugar. Beat using the whisk attachment until soft peaks form. Keep the topping chilled so it stays stable for assembling and serving.

- Step 3: Assemble the Individual Tiramisu Cups
- Cut the ladyfingers in half so they fit neatly into the cups.
- Line up 6 individual tiramisu cups to start layering your mini tiramisu recipe.
- Add one spoonful of the pumpkin cream to the bottom of each cup
- Quickly dip ladyfingers into the coffee mixture — a light coffee soak prevents them from getting soggy, then place two halves in a single layer over the pumpkin cream
- Add another spoonful of pumpkin cream over that layer, then repeat with two more coffee-soaked ladyfingers.

- Step 4: Finish with the remaining pumpkin cream on top.
- Add a layer of whipped cream, spreading it gently or use a piping bag for a cleaner finish if preferred.
- Dust with cinnamon.
- Cover each cup with plastic wrap to prevent the top from drying
- Refrigerate for 1 hour or until fully chilled. For the best results, serve the next day, once the flavors have melded just like a classic tiramisu.
- Remove the cups from the refrigerator about 10 minutes before serving.

This individual tiramisu recipe is a simple way to bring cozy fall flavors to your table. Its layered creaminess makes every bite feel special. Whether you’re hosting friends or planning ahead for the holidays, this Spiced Pumpkin Tiramisu fits right into your favorite Autumn dessert recipes. And it's easy to make any time you want a no-bake treat.
Recipe Variations
- Dust the top with cocoa powder or finish with chocolate shavings for a richer, dessert-shop style presentation.
- Swap the ladyfingers for slices of sponge cake if you want a different base or cannot find ladyfingers.
- Add a splash of Pumpkin Liqueur to the coffee layer for a stronger pumpkin kick and a more festive flavor profile.
Storage suggestions
Keep the Tiramisu cups fresh by storing them covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. The texture stays smooth and creamy, and the flavors deepen as it chills. Allow it to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.

We hope you love this Autumn recipe as much as we do!
